Relationship Counseling

Take Your Relationship from Good to Great

You know you have a good relationship. But you want that wholehearted understanding and acceptance that just isn’t quite there enough of the time.

Or maybe you do feel a deep connection with your partner, but you keep getting stuck on the same painful issue.

“We love each other, but having kids has turned our life upside down.”

“My boyfriend ’s a wonderful man, but his job is consuming him.”

“I love my wife, but sometimes it feels like nothing I do is good enough.”

The best place to start is to tune up your communication.

Now is a good time to consider relationship counseling. Chances are, you either shut down or get overly critical when you’re upset. And so does your partner. Without realizing it, you may weave stories about each other that are much worse than what’s really going on. That means that past experiences are filtering your view of each other. It’s hard to sort this out yourself, because you’re right in the middle of it.

I help you understand the beliefs you have because of your experiences. But unlike a lot of relationship counselors, I don’t spend a lot of time reliving the past. It’s creating a new present that really counts.

I’m an expert at finding the changes that give your communication the most leverage!

I’ll show you small adjustments you can make in how you communicate. These small changes make a big difference in how your ability to feel close, understood, and loving.

Once you smooth out your communication, you feel more flexible and in control, so you can create fresh solutions for your problems.

Everyone gets discouraged about their relationship from time to time. But you don’t have to settle for so-so. I’ve been doing relationship counseling for 12 years. The right information and tools can make all the difference.

To get started call me at 425-823-2273 or email for an appointment. I offer a free 30-minute get-to-know-you appointment to see if we’re a good fit.

"I loved this counseling. You are very easy to work with and you made my husband feel comfortable, which was tough!

You are someone both men and women feel they can talk to. We learned a lot about how to better communicate with each other and also WHY we communicate differently. THANK YOU!"

“It was an eye-opener to realize that HOW I say it is just as important as WHAT I say. It makes a big difference in how my wife and I get along.”
